Job Title: Data Architect (Azure Analytics)

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Data Architect specialized in the Azure Analytics stack to join our New Trucks Sales data domain. In this role, you won't just be designing from an ivory tower; you will be the technical heartbeat of our data teams. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and robust, scalable technical solutions, ensuring our data products are built to the highest standards of the industry.

As a natural communicator and coach, you will navigate a complex international stakeholder landscape, aligning technical designs with organizational goals while actively mentoring your team to elevate their collective expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Define and own end-to-end scalable Data Architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and the full lifecycle of data management.
• Technical Excellence: Provide hands-on leadership in development efforts. You represent the internal and external capabilities of the platform and ensure "robust design" is part of the team's DNA.
• Guild Membership: Act as an active member of the team, overseeing data management processes and providing direction on design, documentation, and validation.
• Strategic Governance: Develop architectures and policies regarding data governance, Master Data Management (MDM), metadata, data quality, and security.
• Modeling & Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive logical and physical data models that serve as the blueprint for our complex environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Compliance, Privacy, Risk, and InfoSec teams to ensure all designs meet rigorous corporate and legal requirements.
• Mentorship & Coaching: Actively share knowledge to "lift" the team to the next level. You derive energy from seeing your colleagues grow through your technical guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Azure Mastery: Deep expertise in the Azure Cloud data ecosystem, specifically Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and SQL Database.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Python and Spark. Experience with Angular, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Power BI is a significant advantage.
• Experience: A proven track record in one or more of the following: Analytics & BI development, Data Engineering, or Platform Administration.
• Methodology: Experience working within Agile and SAFe frameworks.
• Analytical Mindset: The ability to quickly grasp organizational complexity and translate business needs into technical reality.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills. You are a natural collaborator who can build rapport with diverse stakeholders across multiple global locations.
