2. Technical Information: When you access our online services, our servers may automatically record your IP address, access times, pages visited, browser type, and other technical information. We may also receive additional information from telecommunications operators when you use our services over telecommunications networks.

3. Other Information: We may collect information from public sources and, where relevant for a specific assignment or client requirement, conduct background checks only when this is necessary and proportionate for the recruitment process. This may include situations where (i) the nature of the role or assignment requires it, (ii) a client explicitly requests it as part of the selection process, and/or (iii) we are required to do so under applicable law. Where required, we will inform you in advance and, if applicable, request your consent.

Staff-IT retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

1. Active profile / contracting relationship: Personal data is retained for as long as your profile remains active and/or while Staff-IT is in contact with you regarding current or potential IT freelance assignments.

2. Inactive profiles: If there has been no interaction or activity related to your profile for a period of 24 months, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized, unless retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or defend legal claims.

3. After the contracting relationship ends: Once you are no longer connected with Staff-IT, your personal data will be retained in accordance with the retention periods described above, unless a longer retention period is required under applicable law.

This retention approach is without prejudice to your rights as described in this Privacy Policy.

By providing your personal data to Staff-IT, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer and processing of your data worldwide, including in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

Your personal data may be shared only with the following categories of recipients, to the extent necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

1. Clients for whom IT freelance assignments are being considered.

2. Recruitment or contracting partners and agencies acting on behalf of Staff-IT.

3. Service providers supporting our IT systems, hosting, communication, and administrative services.

4. Public authorities or legal bodies, where required to comply with applicable law or legal obligations.

Staff-IT does not sell your personal data and does not share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes unrelated to contracting activities.
